The Old Age
Paranbabu retired from service few days back.A long career of 36 years and now he wants a calm and happy retired life.Paranbabu got a nice retirement package,has his own house.His only son is a reputed doctor of the city,family is full with his wife,daughter-in-law and a cute grandson.Everything is picture perfect.Days and months passed by.Paranbabu is getting accustomed with the retired life but one question is itching in his mind -- is he really happy?He spent a long time outside his house and now a long time in the house.Is he confining himself?Is he intruding in the family?Paranbabu can't get his answers.Everybody in this family loves and respects him.Still Paranbabu feels very shaky.He is thinking of the ancient times.There is 'Banprostho' after 'Garhyostho'.At that time,old persons were much revered but still they left the home at the old age.What will he do?Paranbabu is getting more troubled inside.He understands that if this dilemma continues he would be a mental patient.He at last fixes his mind.He will leave forever following the footsteps of the ancient people.He will live on his own.
